Did you know that, generally, people with emotional intelligence are considered leaders in their workplace? Being around them has positive effects on psychological well-being and work engagement.
Proposed by Salovey and Mayer (1990) to describe a form of human intelligence that involves the ability to perceive, manage emotions, and take them into account to better adapt to one's environment, this concept has two dimensions:
- Personal - the ability to recognize one's emotions to better adapt to the situations one encounters.
- Social - the ability to recognize the emotions of others to adapt effectively in their social and professional relationships.
In this program, you will acquire and refine competencies related to emotional intelligence and learn how to apply them in your professional life. You will start by measuring your emotional quotient and use the results to identify your strengths and decide what you need to work on to become a more effective and more impactful leader.
