Yves Pigneur is Professor Emeritus at HEC Lausanne and has served as a visiting professor at several universities, including HEC Montréal. He has also been awarded honorary doctorates (doctor honoris causa) by several institutions, including the Université de Montréal and HEC Montréal. Together with Alex Osterwalder, he created the Business Model Canvas and other management tools used by millions of professionals worldwide. They have co-authored several bestselling books, including Business Model Generation, Value Proposition Design, and The Invincible Company. They are recognized among the world's most influential management thinkers by Thinkers50 and are recipients of the Thinkers50 Strategy Award.
