A Helping Hand to Fund Your Training Initiatives
Various grants and other forms of financial assistance are available to help individuals and organizations cover the costs of hundreds of professional development programs offered by Executive Education HEC Montréal. Read on for an overview of what you may be eligible for.
Discount for non-profit organizations
For registrations made on or after November 1st, 2025, non-profit organizations are entitled to 30% off all programs offered by Executive Education HEC Montréal, except for customized programs. Simply select Discount eligibility when completing the online application to take advantage of this special rate.
Funding for customized training programs in artificial intelligence
Scale AI provides grants to select organizations to help provide customized digital intelligence programs to their teams.
Workforce training program
This program can be used to fund specific training expenses in order to help small and medium-sized businesses in Quebec develop their workers’ skills.
Market diversification program
The purpose of this funding program is to provide support to Quebec businesses affected by newly imposed U.S. tariffs by helping them:
- Develop and strengthen the skills of their workers
- Implement diversification strategies to explore other markets in Canada or abroad (outside of the U.S.).
Financial support for Black-led businesses
This program led by the Toboggan & Co Foundation is intended to help businesses cover the costs of Executive Education HEC Montréal’s Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership.
Écoleader fund
The Écoleader fund provides financial assistance to businesses looking to embrace environmentally responsible practices and clean technologies.
Canada training credit
This refundable tax credit is available to help Canadians with the cost of eligible training fees.
1% training law (Act to promote workforce skills development)
Executive Education HEC Montréal program expenses are eligible under Quebec’s 1% training law, which requires companies with a payroll of $2 million or more to invest at least 1% of their total payroll in training.
Funding for First Nations
Financial assistance is available to First Nations and members of Indigenous organizations to enrol in First Nations Executive Education programs.
