Corporate Director, Ethics and Compliance Expert

Ginette Depelteau is a lawyer and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1989. She also has an MBA. She worked as Corporate Secretary and Senior Vice-President, Compliance, for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) for 25 years. In that role, she developed the function of compliance, as well as an approach, strategy and guidelines with regard to ethics, from 1994 to October 2019. She participated in amendments to the Act respecting the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec that led to the modernization of the CPDQ’s governance structure, and developed the function of compliance, as well as an approach, strategy and guidelines for responsible investing and ethics.
