Léandre Chénard-Poirier is an assistant professor in the Department of Management at HEC Montréal and an industrial and organizational psychologist. His work focuses on leadership practices that foster engagement, well-being, and sustainable performance, as well as the darker sides of leadership and their effects on the health and mobilization of teams. He works with managers and organizations to implement concrete, human, and effective management practices, helping them recognize and address management behaviors that undermine productivity, talent retention, and performance. His research is published in scientific journals, book chapters, and specialized works.
