From developing strategy to measuring performance, environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors are changing the way we do business. In a world where the only constant is change, be it in the regulatory framework or day-to-day business practices, a whole new skill set is required to sharpen your ESG focus and incorporate these principles into your organization’s value chain and every point in your communications pipeline.

The interactive approach of this course, led by prominent specialists in the field, will give you the opportunity to test out your newly acquired knowledge and tools — as you gain a new appreciation for the challenges associated with sustainable finance and climate risk.

GOALS

  • Establish a business strategy rooted in the key concepts of sustainable development (materiality, circularity, EDI (equity, diversity and inclusion), carbon neutrality).
  • Oversee the implementation of your strategy (interdisciplinarity, board roles, responsibilities).
  • Measure financial performance and non-financial impacts (indicators, dashboards, targets).
  • Relay information effectively to various stakeholders (reporting frameworks, new formats of financial statements, greenwashing, assurance/audit).

Note: No previous financial training required.
