Mariama Zhouri has been making her mark for over a quarter of a century, currently as Managing Partner at HammerSmith Consulting Group and over the course of her career with some of the world’s top consulting firms, including CGI, Deloitte, KPMG, and PwC.

She is a sought-after conference speaker on topics related to information technology as well as the technological and regulatory risks of artificial intelligence, complex crisis management and major transformations.

A pioneer in her field, she has also been a staunch advocate for inclusion and access for immigrants. She created a scholarship at HEC Montréal to support women who have immigrated to Canada and wish to obtain professional certification. A room in the new Hélène Desmarais Building at HEC Montréal has been named in her honour.

She is also independently and actively involved in promoting her profession and her community. She is the first woman of diversity to be a member of the Office des professions du Québec and chairs the audit committee. She is a past president of PMI-Montreal and a current member of PMI International’s Comité mondial de la francophonie.

She has completed various business programs at HEC Montréal, Harvard Business School and McGill University, and earned the following credentials: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (RMP).
