Geneviève Tanguay is a partner at Panache Ventures. She was previously the CEO of Anges Québec (2021–2025), Canada’s largest angel investor network. With over 25 years of investment experience, she has participated in numerous private equity transactions and venture capital investments through the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.

Her diverse roles have allowed her to serve on more than 20 boards of private companies, including VIA Rail and Globocam, and numerous non-profit organizations, including the Institut des administrateurs de sociétés, SCALE AI, Centech, the Cercle JCCM and Leucan.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from HEC Montréal and is a mentor with the Creative Destruction Lab. She received the Investor of the Year award from the Montreal startup community in 2023 and the John Molson Prize for exceptional contributions to Quebec’s business and entrepreneurial ecosystem. She is frequently invited to contribute to various platforms (Les Affaires) and forums (C2, Montreal Conference, IAS, etc.) on topics related to entrepreneurship, investment, innovation, AI, leadership and governance.

She is passionate about attracting investors to Montreal, empowering women in venture capital and supporting the progress of innovative young entrepreneurs.
