Véronique Proulx has many years of experience working with business owners and entrepreneurs, along with an in-depth knowledge of Quebec’s exporting and manufacturing activities. She is a past CEO of Manufacturiers et Exportateurs du Québec (MEQ) and served as Senior Vice-President, Policy and Public Affairs, for Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) from 2017 to 2024.

Under her leadership, MEQ became an influential and authoritative voice for Quebec’s manufacturing community. She brought a renewed energy to the organization and ushered in a period of significant growth. Prior to that, she spent close to 15 years at Laval Technopole.

She was named to the prestigious Women’s Executive Network 2021 Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in the emerging leaders category. In 2024, she was presented with a Décadra award from ESG UQAM for contributing positively to the business school’s community and reputation, and for embodying its values of innovation, creativity and social responsibility.

She earned a joint Executive MBA from ESG UQAM and Université Paris Dauphine-PSL.
