Leveraging over 30 years of experience, Lili-Anna Pereša works to reduce barriers to quality mental health care through evidence-informed policy change and collaborative system transformation.

Earlier in her career, her commitment to community service saw her travel to such countries as Malawi, Burkina Faso and Bosnia-Herzegovina. She then served as the Executive Director of Amnesty International France before returning to Canada to take on leadership roles with the likes of YWCA Montréal, Centraide of Greater Montreal and the McConnell Foundation.

She holds an engineering degree from Polytechnique Montréal, a management degree from McGill University and a political science degree from the Sorbonne. She was appointed a Knight of the Ordre national du Québec and awarded an honorary doctorate from the Université de Montréal. She has also served on various boards and national committees where she has continued to advocate for equity and sustainable change.
