Ann MacDonald has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HEC Montréal coupled with certification as a project management professional (PMP) and a chartered corporate director (ASC). Over the course of her career, she has developed a high level of knowledge and skill in governance and business development matters.
During the 17 years she worked for Bombardier Transportation, she held several senior management positions, including Vice-President of Business Development and Sales. In this capacity, she oversaw market strategies for North and South America, playing a decisive role in landing a number of key transportation system contracts.
After serving as Senior Advisor for VIA Rail’s fleet renewal program, she joined BONE Structure, where she spent five years as Chief Operating Officer.
She has actively contributed to a wide range of community, industry and government organizations over the years. She is a former chair of the CHU Sainte-Justine Board of Directors, a position she held amid the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic, and a former board member of the hospital’s foundation.
She currently chairs the boards of Loto-Québec and the Little Brothers Foundation, is a director of ADM Aérorports de Montréal and heads the ADM Development and Innovation Committee.
