Global Leader, Ethics, Compliance and Privacy, CAE
Pierre Gignac is CAE’s Global Leader, Ethics and Compliance. In this role, he defines and establishes the group’s key policies on responsible business conduct and independently oversees their implementation and enforcement across CAE’s operations worldwide, particularly in the civil aviation, defence and security sectors. His mandate encompasses CAE’s Code of Professional Ethics, as well as related policies and programs addressing anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, reporting and whistleblowing mechanisms, and several other areas.
He also serves as CAE’s Privacy Officer. In this capacity, he works closely with teams responsible for product development, data governance, cybersecurity and other functions to ensure that the group’s practices comply with applicable requirements relating to data protection, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
Before joining CAE, Pierre Gignac spent several years at Deloitte in Montréal, where he advised numerous public- and private-sector organizations through consulting and audit engagements focused on corporate governance, risk management, regulatory compliance and internal controls.
Until recently, he also served as a trainer for the Certification in Ethics and Compliance program at Executive Education HEC Montréal.
