Manaf Bouchentouf

As the Executive Director of Strategy, Development and Sustainability at Montreal’s Institut TransMedTech, Manaf Bouchentouf is responsible for the strategic development and long-term success of the organization as well as the implementation of new initiatives. In this role, he works with innovators, scientists, entrepreneurs, investors and leaders in the medical and health technology fields to promote innovation and sustainable social and economic development through intersectoral and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Before joining Institut TransMedTech, Manaf co-founded and co-led the Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Acquisition and Business Families Hub at HEC Montréal, La base entrepreneuriale HEC Montréal and the Institute for Entrepreneurship National Bank –HEC Montréal (now called La sphere – HEC Montréal). Additionally, he established the National Bank – HEC Montréal business accelerator as well as entrePrism, an innovative incubator that aims to support immigrant entrepreneurship. Manaf also served as the co-director of the Rémi Marcoux Entrepreneurial Track and the Deschênes | Molson | Lesage Family Business Centre.

As a coach and instructor, Manaf focuses on project management and value creation, providing specialized training in entrepreneurship and innovation in the high-tech, impact and economic sectors. He has supported entrepreneurs, business professionals and executives working at startups, government agencies and organizations of all sizes, including the Business Development Bank of Canada, the National Research Council Canada, the Canadian Space Agency, TC Transcontinental, National Bank of Canada, the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and the Montreal chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis.

Before joining HEC Montréal, Manaf held various management and leadership positions in research and industry, both in Canada and abroad.
