Gilbert Kofi Adarkwah is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and International Business at HEC Montréal. He is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Gilbert and Partners, an Oslo-based VC firm investing in high-potential startups with a focus on emerging markets and inclusive growth. He holds a PhD in Business and Economics, two MSc degrees, and an LLM in Law.

Prior to academia, he held senior executive roles including Vice President of Strategy and CEO Advisor at Aker Energy, and co-founded the Pangea Accelerator. His research focuses on institutional complexity, impact investing, and strategic management in emerging markets.
