Building on its existing streams in AI, supply chain and blockchain/Web3, CDL-Montreal, powered by Executive Education HEC Montréal, is adding quantum technologies to its offering, thereby amplifying its impact and ability to attract international talent.
In so doing, CDL-Montreal is joining forces with CDL-Toronto, one of 13 Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) sites across seven countries, namely Australia, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. The program is unlike anything else currently available in Montreal and Toronto. Participating startups will attend four sessions per year: two virtual and two in person (one in each city).
Enriching the ecosystem
“We’re proud to join the incredibly successful Quantum Stream, led by the team at CDL-Toronto,“ says Julien Billot, the CDL-Montreal Site Lead. “Quebec is a leader in this field, both for its infrastructure and for its world-renowned specialists. We plan to leverage the cutting-edge research and resources of the quantum science centre in Sherbrooke as well as the essential contributions of facilities in Bromont, Quebec City and Montreal. We will also be drawing on the management expertise of HEC Montréal to accelerate the commercialization of this revolutionary technology.“
To date, alumni ventures from the CDL Quantum Stream have raised over $825 million CAD, showcasing the program’s efficacy in nurturing quantum innovation.
