Cyrille Sardais has been a professor at HEC Montréal since 2006. He served as the head of the Department of Management from 2012 to 2014 and was subsequently named to the Pierre Péladeau Leadership Chair. He studied administration at HEC Paris and history at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, where he wrote his thesis on Pierre Lefaucheux, head of Renault from 1944 to 1955. His research continues to look at company executives and the issues of leadership and decision-making. At HEC Montréal, he teaches courses in leadership, management skills and decision-making in the MSc, MBA and BBA programs.
