Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Quebec-Labrador (AFNQL)

Mr. Ghislain Picard is Innu from the community of Pessamit. Since 1992, he is Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Quebec-Labrador (AFNQL), a political organization regrouping 43 Chiefs of the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador. As AFNQL Chief, he sits on the Assembly of First Nations’ Executive Committee and Management Committee and he is the spokesperson for Justice and Policing and Border Crossing.
