Laure Patouillard is a research associate at CIRAIG and Polytechnique Montréal, and an adjunct professor at the UQAM Institute of Environmental Sciences. She has over 15 years of experience in research and teaching in life cycle assessment, sustainable consumption and production, system modelling and environmental impact assessment, transportation, energy, uncertainty and regionalization.

She holds an engineering degree from ENSTA Paris and a PhD in industrial engineering from Polytechnique Montréal. She has worked for such organizations as IFP Energies nouvelles and previously served as the scientific coordinator for CIRAIG. Currently, she chairs the Canadian mirror committee on life cycle assessment for ISO.
