In addition to serving as an associate professor at the Université de Montréal’s School of Industrial Relations and the head of the Michael D. Penner Institute on ESG, Isabelle Martin is a coresearcher with the Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work and an associate researcher with the Chair in Governance and Business Law.
She was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1999 and began her career as a law clerk with the Court of Appeal of Québec. She then joined the Montreal-based firm of Melançon Marceau Grenier Sciortino where she practised labour law. Her research has focused on corporate social responsibility, worker protection in decentralized organizations and the issues of power and dignity in labour relations.
