Director, Ethics and Compliance CDPQ

Simon Denault is a lawyer who earned his MSc in management from HEC Montréal. He has 15 years of leadership and advisory experience in ethics, governance and government affairs.

He is currently in charge of compliance and risk management for the Université de Montréal. He was also one the driving forces behind the creation of the Certification in Ethics and Compliance program at Executive Education HEC Montréal and sits on the program’s education committee.

Former roles include management positions with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and prominent professional associations. He has also served on the boards of several charitable organizations.
