On March 9, Executive Education HEC Montréal held its first in-person class, as part of its certification program in retail management, after a prolonged period of virtual-only learning.
Among those who were delighted by this new development was Bruny Surin, entrepreneur, public speaker and business coach: “It was great being there in person again, after all this time away. You can feel a renewed sense of energy and motivation. There aren’t as many distractions, it’s easier for everyone to assimilate the material and the discussions are more dynamic, which makes for better communication.”
The blended formula of the program means that some participants are present on site while others attend remotely. This fourth day of the six-day certification program featured plenty of networking and idea-sharing opportunities, all of which complied with public health guidelines.
The lineup for the coming year will offer a combination of in-class, online, blended and in-house learning options.
