Armed with 30 years of experience in building, scaling and transforming top organizations, Josée Ouellet has served as a strategy, leadership and skills consultant for the past two years.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) and her MBA from Université Laval. She has held leadership roles in a number of organizations over the years, including UQAC, Colleges and Institutes Canada, the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec, several non-profits and the Desjardins Group. While at the latter, she set up an institute for cooperatives , offering a range of leadership, management, customer experience and specialized training programs.
She served as the head of Collège d’Alma from 2016 to 2022, during which time she introduced a new strategic plan that set the school on a path to growth and success. She also got a regional laboratory known as COlab up and running, focusing on research and innovation designed to help people and communities enhance their digital skills.
Known for her high-level expertise, systematic approach and straight-shooting leadership style, she is a highly respected champion of innovation and new models of entrepreneurship in the field of learning and skills development.
