Managing Director, Cross-Sectoral and Geopolitical Risks, CDPQ

In his role as Managing Director, Cross-Sectoral and Geopolitical Risks, at CDPQ, Guillaume Callonico oversees a team of specialists who support the organization’s investment decisions and strategic orientations. He also advises global companies on refining their understanding and management of geopolitical risks.

Mr. Callonico holds a master’s degree in international relations and comparative politics from the Université de Montréal and currently teaches geopolitical risk management at his alma mater. He has over 15 years of experience in international relations and geopolitical risk analysis.

He has also authored several essays, including Le réveil géopolitique de la finance, in which he sets out a methodology and tools for investors to find success in an unpredictable world
